Bathroom Inspirations
When it comes to bathroom design, I prefer dark walls, a beautiful bathtub and a big ornate mirror. I would also decorate the room with aromatic candles and something organic like a plant. My absolute nightmare would be a shiny white bathroom with big windows and lots of chrome. However, bathroom design is very personal and if you like it modern and functional, then this might be perfectly okay for you. But seriously, how are you going to relax or follow your beauty routine in such an atmosphere. If you live in a rented apartment, then a big part of the bathroom design will already be given and you might have to cope with ugly tiles or other design mistakes. Still try your best to make it yours; buy a nice set of towels, some elegant accessories like a soap dispenser or shower curtain. You can also display the beautiful flacons of your favourite perfumes, which will serve as a wonderful decorative element. Work with the colours that are given to you and never give up on a room. Sometimes it might just take a little while and something apparently ‘ugly’ can even give a room an edge. There is nothing worse than a sterile and overly perfect designed room.
Dark Bathroom with White Flowers
This picture perfectly captures how I envision the bathroom of my dreams. Dark with ornate details and beautiful white flowers. Now imagine a nice floral scent and you don’t want to leave this room anymore.

Floral Bathroom
This bathroom has kind of a living room atmosphere. Imagine stepping out of the bathtub onto the soft rug and wrapping yourself into a big soft towel. The different floral patterns go perfectly well with each other. Choosing cream and brownish colours together with a deep red, almost aubergine, creates harmony.

Charismatic Bathroom
Again a nice combination of a dark bathroom with white flowers. Although the design is pretty modern, the choice of colours in combination with the floral pattern prevents the room from looking sterile. It’s also a great idea to use a wallpaper instead of tiles.

Very Berry Bathroom
This is a really girly bathroom with pink walls and accessories, which are skilfully combined with dark wood and soft grey tiles. Just invite your girlfriends, open a bottle of champagne and get ready for the party.

These are absolutely GORGEOUS. I can’t wait to own my own place…
Hm, I like the dark bathroom with white flowers, and the very berry bathrooms best. They both have a cozy feel without too many flowers.
